Visitors to Europe’s largest consumer electronics show demoed the not-so-distant future, where the connected kitchen makes everyone a chef.
We helped Bosch visitors experience how future products will work together to simplify life inside their kitchens—and raise the bar on what comes out of them.
Using a set of RFID-enabled objects as controls, visitors indicated their preferred meal type, amount of time, and dietary restrictions. This information was used algorithmically to narrow multiple options down to a single recipe suggestion.
Manipulating a 12-sided smart object, visitors then cooked a virtual meal, moving through the recipe steps by selecting functions like “chop” and “boil”—all features handled by a single device in Bosch’s future kitchen.
