How do you put aspirations at the heart of transactions?
Credit unions are known for being community-oriented spaces, but most aren’t changing to meet the shifting needs and lifestyles of members. First Tech Credit Union turned to us to create a whole new kind of branch—one that’s a hub for personal connection and support in a screen-first culture.
We launched a full-scale reimagining of the organization’s brick-and-mortar locations, using leading technology in service of individual goals and potential. Teller counters and long lines went out the window, making room for one-on-one guidance and deeper human interactions.
A series of interconnected digital experiences pushes the bounds of money talk. As members walk through the doors, an LED column attracts them to a set of interactive tables containing fill-in-the-blank prompts related to their own financial dreams, questions, and concerns.
Responses are cast onto a nearby digital wall that displays a collage of member voices in real time. Free-roaming staff use these responses to draw members into more relevant conversations that quickly bridge the gap between numbers and life. By personalizing financial exchanges, we created an atmosphere rich with possibility.
