Project Overview

Communing with Nature

We staged an ethereal encounter with the natural world.

Our current era is marked by staggering human influence on the environment—and yet few can read the signs of a fragile ecosystem in flux. Though humans once spoke the language of the land, obsessive pursuit of progress has severed our connection to the natural world. Today, few among us can still decipher nature’s native tongue. At a tech event devoted to what’s next, we enticed people to lean in, linger, and recover what once was.

Commissioned by Epson to showcase their powerful projection technology, “Ecoterica” was an audio-visual art installation designed to bring people back into intimate conversation with the wild.

Kaleidoscopic visions were projected throughout the space, turning plants and animals into enigmatic emblems that invited people to ponder and decode what they were seeing. Abstract soundscapes, comprised of raw nature noises, evolved in response to the hypnotic visuals and heightened the otherworldly vibe.

The meditative space became a refuge, where visitors could fall into sync with the intuitive rhythms of the natural world and reawaken their capacity for wonder.
