Digital Challenge
This engaging, game-like experience outlines the five major challenges that the National Archives faces in preserving the electronic records of our government.
Visitors launch the experience by selecting one of the five challenges archivists face with digital media. An engaging video sets up each of the challenges and then offers visitors the opportunity to choose a solution to meet the challenge. When all five are completed, the puzzle-like interface reveals a new look at the National Archives building. This installation is in the Public Vault, “To Ourselves and Our Posterity,” focusing on the National Archives’ role in keeping our records for future generations.
