In this interactive learning environment visitors can learn about issues of freedom throughout the world, access timely news feeds, take quizzes, and create their own Bill of Rights.
Over a dozen sit-down stations in this room facilitate large groups and classes visiting the McCormick Freedom Museum. Each station has four activities that are all kept fresh and relevant through the museum’s content management system. “What’s Happening?” is a news feed aggregator that pulls in articles on a variety of subjects that show the struggle for freedom is still alive; “Around the World” plots international freedom-related news stories on a map; and younger audiences can create and print their own Bill of Rights and play “Freedom Training,” a role-playing game that tests their knowledge of freedom-related issues.
