Project Overview

Freedom Museum Media Wall

As an overture to the McCormick Freedom Museum, a 30-foot media wall orchestrates people throughout time exercising, challenging, celebrating, and defending freedom.

Sweeping up along the ramp leading to the exhibits, the sixteen screens in this media wall are organically arranged yet synchronized to create a single wall-wide presentation that challenges visitors to consider how freedom plays a role in their lives. Borrowing on the visual language of the large sculpture that it surrounds, the swirling sequences appear to alternate between focused clusters of content on one, then four, and ultimately all sixteen screens with fresh, bold motion graphics that stand up to the displays in neighboring retail environments up and down Michigan Avenue.
