An original score and orchestrated motion graphics bring to life the earlier philosophies, events, and civilizations upon which American democracy was built.
To explore the various influences that shaped our political foundations, this large screen presents a series of animated chapters each devoted to antecedent systems that contributed to the evolution of freedoms afforded by democracy. From the Greeks, Romans, British, and early colonial American innovations, the Founding Fathers drew on a variety of sources in the creation of our new republic. Archival imagery is deconstructed and animated in compelling reconstructed scenes that illustrate the people, events, and places the narrator describes. As each chapter plays, an iconic representative image adjacent to the screen is illuminated until each is played out and the presentation starts over again.
