Welcome Desk Screens
Above the welcome desks an expansive, dynamic display introduces the activities and daily events awaiting arriving visitors within the Library of Congress.
Rich motion graphics blend beautiful imagery and animation with live data in the system driving the two Welcome Desk Screen installations. Visitors can quickly see that no ordinary outing awaits them: highlights in the library’s collection and every exhibition are featured, the frequent tours and events are advertised, the myLOC personalization system and Knowledge Quest are introduced, and donors are recognized through a poetic animated sequence.
