MacArthur-Marquette

Chicago’s Marquette Building is a landmark early skyscraper and the headquarters of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. One of the nation’s largest private philanthropic organizations, the MacArthur Foundation is dedicated to fostering the work of socially relevant and creative institutions and individuals around the world. Media experiences within the interpretive gallery in the recently renovated Marquette Building arcade explore the history and preservation of the building, interpret the art and iconography of the architecture, introduce the philanthropic mission of the foundation, and reveal the work of foundation grantees around the world.
