An interactive art experience at the World of Coca-Cola transforms everyday visitors into expert artists by helping them “paint” their own brand-centric masterpiece.
Immortalized by artists from Norman Rockwell to Andy Warhol, Coke and its iconic bottle have been fixtures in American popular culture for decades. For the World of Coca-Cola gallery celebrating this legacy, Second Story designed and developed an installation that extends the brand’s mission to spread smiles and inspire happiness around the world.
My Coke Art lets visitors become part of the exhibit by giving them the tools to create beautiful works of art. After selecting their favorite style—heritage, pop, or modern—guests are presented with a blank canvas featuring only the familiar Coke bottle shape. Using the intuitive interface, they can mix and match background patterns, play with objects, and resize and rotate details to design their own completely unique piece. Once they’ve finished customizing their creation, they can send it to their phone to be shared with friends and publish it to the gallery, “hanging” their piece alongside those created by fellow visitors.
The end result is a cohesive body of work that honors self-expression and collective creativity. Inclusive, accessible, and fun for international visitors from preschoolers to grandparents, the spirit of the experience is pure Coca-Cola.
