A multi-touch table transports users to “The Longest Street in the World” and showcases Sesame Workshop’s global humanitarian efforts.
Located in their New York City headquarters, this interactive table surprises and delights visitors while showing them that Sesame Workshop is more than just a non-profit organization—it is a global endeavor to better the lives of children around the world.
The table communicates a wealth of information while keeping the experience fun, accessible, and easy to navigate. Visitors can watch show-opening clips from Sesame Workshop’s co-productions around the world, and see how Sesame Workshop’s approach has been adapted to local cultures and educational needs. The kaleidoscopic array of stories helps extend Sesame Street’s mission “to use the educational power of media to help children everywhere reach their highest potential.”
The experience employs the Samsung SUR40 interactive table for Microsoft Surface to achieve a multi-user experience. Content automatically orients toward the user no matter where they are located around the table.
