As a centerpiece to the space and beacon to attract visitors, the Pulse is an 82-foot hanging sculpture that displays a stream of relevant, up-to-date information including statistics, quotes, tweets, and news.
Alive with vibrant colors and motion graphics, the Pulse is a streaming feed of news related to the Commons. At 82-feet, this dynamic sculpture creates a visual anchor in the space that visitors can turn to to see what’s happening. With an easily accessible command center, the Commons staff can constantly update the news to keep it current. Abstract visuals cascade down the ribbon, making the space feel animated, pulsing and breathing with life. At the base of the sculpture, visitors will find an interactive screen where they can learn more about the news featured on the Pulse.
