In these two installations, visitors physically slide their touch screens across the wall to reveal declassified records, while above them an overhead screen plays a video featuring secrecy posters from World War II.
This interactive imaginatively blends mechanical and computer interactivity: visitors slide touch screen across a six-foot rail to discover the contents of sealed boxes. As visitors slide the monitor the screen reacts with compelling synchronized animations, revealing the records in the boxes positioned behind the screens. Each of the declassified records can be magnified, transcribed, and decoded on the touch screens through the Enhanced Record Viewer tool.
