Visitors are invited to become a part of the exhibit by recording their thoughts on freedom for all to see and hear.
What does freedom mean? This question is the impetus behind a video and audio recording booth where visitors to the McCormick Tribune Freedom Museum are asked to share their thoughts on freedom. These recordings become part of the museum’s archive, and are displayed on a companion viewing station for future visitors to experience alongside reflections by prominent Americans. The interactive prompts visitors to discuss freedom in a relevant and unbiased context, and to understand how their voices fit into a larger dialogue on freedom.
